Now, more than ever, there’s a pressing need to address the systemic barriers hindering the holistic development of Black/African-American and Latinx youth. Surge provides a unique platform to engage in transformative change, aligning perfectly with my aspirations to contribute meaningfully to dismantling disparities in education. As a Surge Fellow, I aim to leverage my expertise to drive tangible progress in fostering inclusive environments, advocating for policy reforms, and nurturing diverse leaders.
