Keviyona Ray describes herself as a passionate educational leader with a commitment to equity for all students. Throughout her professional endeavors, she has shown the ability to develop strong teacher teams and leaders and provide instructional coaching. She is passionate about building relational trust with all stakeholders and fiercely advocates for a community-centered approach that includes all teachers, students, parents, and community members. Keviyona has been working in education for over 18 years and started as a lead teacher at Asa Phillip Randolph elementary school I Chicago where she would eventually go on to be Assistant Principal, and now serves the campus as Principal. She holds a master’s degree in administration and curriculum and instruction.
