The biennial Surge Alumni Convening will serve as a national gathering for nearly 300 graduates of Surge’s fellowship programs across flagship and academy sites, as well as staff, board members, Surge Faculty, and Friends of Surge.

Our inaugural convening in the spring of 2019, brought together a collective of alums from two cities and inspired that generation of leaders to move their work forward in powerful ways, and at that time, Surge was a much smaller movement. We are now operating from coast to coast, with programming in Oakland, Chicago, Washington D.C., Indianapolis, Kansas City, and more. This will be a true opportunity to #FueltheSurge!

With the pause of in-person gatherings due to the pandemic, our Surge Alumni community is on the edge of their seats about the opportunity to finally come together in New Orleans, Louisiana in the spring of 2023.

Help us make it an unforgettable experience!
