“After my experience with Black Principal Network, I was eager to continue transformation work with Surge. Surge helped me fine tune my leadership skills in the following ways: I learned to prioritize my growth and mental health, and identify and lead through strengths based coaching, and by connected me with experts in the field. I have had a chance to further develop my leadership skills as a school leader over the past five years. Participating in this cohort will allow me to become clear on how to expand my impact in Education beyond being a School Leader. It is also powerful to be able to do this work alongside by black and brown peers being centered in the learning and advancement of our communities. ”
