Jonathan G. Love is an inspirational leader and dedicated professional whose journey began with a personal connection to speech-language pathology. As a child, Jonathan received speech therapy from Arnell Brady to address an expressive language and fluency disorder. Inspired by his success and mentorship, he pursued a career as a speech-language pathologist, ultimately becoming a trailblazer in education and therapy.
Jonathan earned his Bachelor’s degree from Xavier University in New Orleans, followed by a fellowship at the University of Northern Iowa, where he completed a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. In 2004, he was selected for the Minority Student Leadership Program by the American Speech and Hearing Association, an opportunity that ignited his passion for leadership within the education sector.
After over a decade as a school-based speech-language pathologist, Jonathan transitioned into administration, obtaining a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Governors State University. His academic excellence and ability to lead propelled him to a principal role in Dolton, IL, where he restructured a middle school into a fine arts-focused institution and implemented innovative programs to foster academic and social growth.

Today, Jonathan leverages his dual expertise in speech-language pathology and educational leadership as the founder of the Love Institute and in his role as Related Service Provider Speech and Language Manager for Chicago Public Schools. His consulting companies serve schools across Illinois and Indiana, with plans for expansion to Georgia and Texas.
Jonathan’s professional mission is threefold: to inspire high-performing high school students to pursue careers in communication disorders, to encourage speech-language pathologists to seek leadership roles, and to empower professionals in his field to embrace entrepreneurship.

A passionate advocate for equity and innovation, Jonathan believes in the transformative power of inclusive learning environments and is committed to creating opportunities for all students to succeed.
