Bosede Bada is a transformational school leader dedicated to creating dynamic learning environments that foster curiosity, independence, and academic excellence. Currently serving as the principal of Suder Montessori Magnet School, she is committed to equity, rigorous instruction, and ensuring that all students have the tools they need to succeed.
Raised in a single-parent household in Chicago, Bosede understands firsthand the power of education to change a child’s trajectory. With her older siblings dropping out of high school, she was on the same path—until a few dedicated teachers intervened. They saw her potential, set high expectations, and instilled in her a love for learning that reshaped her future. Inspired by their impact, she made it her mission to ensure every student has the same opportunity to thrive.
Before stepping into leadership, Bosede was a dedicated educator, teaching across multiple grade levels and subjects. She worked to create engaging, student-centered classrooms where learners developed independence and a love for learning. Her success in the classroom, along with her passion for instructional excellence, led her to take on leadership roles to support educators in transforming student outcomes. Her leadership journey began when she joined the New Leaders Aspiring Principals Program, serving as the Resident Principal at Michele Clark High School. She later became Assistant Principal at UChicago Charter Woodlawn High School, where she provided instructional support, advocated for students, and helped the school achieve and maintain a Level 1 rating for the first time in its history.
Bosede holds a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master’s in School Leadership from Concordia University. She also holds a Principal Endorsement and has completed leadership training through New Leaders. In 2024, she participated in the inaugural cohort of the Cahn Leadership Learning Lab, further deepening her expertise in transformational leadership. When she’s not leading school communities, you can probably find Bosede planning her next adventure. An avid traveler, she loves exploring new cultures, trying local foods, and embracing the joy of discovering places she’s never been before. Whether she’s navigating a bustling city or relaxing on a quiet beach, she believes that travel is one of the best ways to continue learning and growing.
