I am committed to seeking opportunities where I can authentically represent the populations I serve. Mental health often lacks visibility within education, and I aspire to be at the forefront of integrating both fields to enhance the success and well-being of Black and Brown communities, as well as all cultures represented in our schools.
At a time when our nation continues to face the harmful effects of racism and discriminatory mindsets within systems of power, I witness firsthand how these issues impact students and families at the school and classroom levels. This reality activates my advocacy and strengthens my leadership resolve to drive meaningful change in education.
