(Las Vegas, NV – March 28, 2023) The Las Vegas Surge Academy launches its inaugural cohort for emerging educational leaders across Clark County. A powerful collective of 11 educational leaders will set out to accelerate their leadership and personal growth to become influential change agents in their communities.
“I am so excited for our very first Surge Academy: Las Vegas cohort! Our fellows are already leaders in their own right. We are thrilled to give them a space to connect, learn, and grow. The Las Vegas cohort comes from all parts of the education world – from nonprofits to higher education to school building – and has many different skill sets and experiences,” shared the Las Vegas Surge Academy Program Director, Susan Garcia Jones. “It’s particularly exciting to think about the ways they will all empower one another to make changes across the entire Vegas education ecosystem.
