2018 Annual Report

A lot can happen in a year. In 2018, we launched our Oakland Surge Fellowship on the West Coast, piloted two new facets of the movement through Surge Angels for entrepreneurial alumni and the Surge Academy in Kansas City, and grew our staff to support the scale of our impact. This report explores that journey while highlighting the beautiful people who validate our mission to transform urban education for our youth and communities. Our 2018 annual report also pays tribute to our growing network of generous supporters and, as always, serves as a reminder that there is much more to come.
