Raven Talley has worked as an educator for 15 years within Chicago Public Schools. She holds degrees in journalism, media, art, and educational administration. She has worked as an intermediate and primary teacher, coach to new teachers, district workshop presenter, assistant principal and currently as a principal. Raven is very fortunate to have received great leadership training through CPS. She believes that all students should have access to a high quality education with both academic and social emotional support. She understands and is attentive to the different ages and stages of children. She believes that all students, families, school staff and the community have a part to play in the success of each student. She is driven by the need to create dynamic learning environments for all students with a plethora of resources. Mrs. Talley is the wife of Rashad Talley (a principal as well) and mother of 2 sons and 1 daughter. Raven is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and Jack and Jill of America. She is a life-long learner and avid reader.
