“The movement the Surge Fellowship is working on is equipping leaders to create change in their communities, strategic move at changing the world, one fellow at a time. I want to be a part of the change that can happen in Chicago and spread globally. Surge is giving people the tools needed to get to the table where change is happening. I am not often the person that is on the protest line but the one that while at the table will be a constant advocate for girls and women of color. I am excited about the opportunity to build community with people that are supportive of everyone’s voice.”
